I've Got A Question.
Hello Ma Dahlings!
Where did the weekend go? I didn't have enough rest at all this weekend. But I hope and pray to God that this week will be a wonderful one for me and for everyone as well.
The title of the present post has become very necessary because, a cousin of mine called me over the weekend and complained bitterly about something pertaining to her relationship, and my counselor level was at its peak.
Her question was "what do you do if your boyfriends ex is his best friend"? According to her anytime the guy is not with her, he is with his ex, he finds every excuse to be with her and even picks her up from work sometimes, claiming that either her ex's car developed a fault or she needed him to help her out with something.
Also, anytime she asks him what exactly is going on between them, he would answer that there's nothing going on between them, other than friendship, and then assures her of his love. What I asked her to do was to sit him down and have a deep mature chat with him about the situation; and if there is still no improvement about how much time he spends with her, then she should ask him to choose between she and his ex. Abi?
So I ask, what will you do if your boyfriend/girlfriend's ex becomes their best friends?
A lovely week is what I wish for You! And You!! And You!!!

Something To Laugh About...
Hello everyone!!
Hope you are all doing fine. I am doing great by the mercies of the most high God. Here is a joke I want to share with you. Please read and enjoy.
One day a lady went into a pharmacy shop, walked right up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "I would like to buy some cyanide please".
When the pharmacist asked her why, the lady replied by saying, "I need it to poison my husband." The pharmacist said 'Lord have mercy! That's against the law!
"Really?! I don't think so" said the lady. She then reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife. The pharmacist, shocked and enraged at the same time, said, after staring at the picture for a while "You didn't tell me you had a prescription!!!" lol. Isn't it funny how we change our stands on issues of value when we are the ones directly involved?lol.
I hope the week has been fruitful so far for everyone. Remember, rivers never reverse its flow. So try to live like a river. Forget not your past but focus on your future. Enjoy yourself as the week gets to its end!!! You deserve it.
Peace... I'm out

OMG!!!!
Hei Blogville!

We are gradually getting close to Christmas and to the end of the year. I remember how I used to lovvee Christmas. When I was a little girl, my mum will buy me new shoes and knee socks that I would wear up to the knee, and almost feel so on top of the world. lol. I miss those good old days mehn...
I hope the year has been eventful so far, even though there's been struggles and ups and downs, I believe the Lord has kept us here for a purpose. Here is a little "something" I want to share with you for the weekend, happy reading...
One day, a rich dad took his son on a trip. He wanted to show him how the poor live. They spent time on the farm of a poor family. On their way home, the man asked his young boy, "Son, did you see how poor they are? What did you learn from our visit? the son answered and said "Dad! We have one dog, they have 4. We have a pool, they have a river. We buy food, they sow. We have walls to protect us and they have friends..."
He went on to say to his dad "Also, we have lanterns at night and they have stars. We have encyclopedias, and they have the bible." Then he concluded by saying "Thank you Dad for making me see how POOR we are."
*Lesson* The wealth we have and the riches we feel all around us is not about money. It's about simplicity and having God in our lives. So, never give up on life even when the going gets tough. Be strong and keep looking up to God. He has never failed me yet and I know He will not fail you either.
This weekend is going to be a long one and that's because Monday is a holiday here in Ghana. Lovely weekend everyone!!!
Peace... I'm out.

Aftermath Of The Rains ...The Travails It Left Behind.
hello people,
I am back again with full force. Even though the floods left us feeling sad and devastated, I know that it is well with us and all the people who were affected either directly or indirectly by this unfortunate incident are doing just fine. Like the great poet J.P Clarke said, one way or another "we are all casualties". We all need to heal, and we all will.
The aftermath of the floods is TERRIBLE. I got to know how bad it was on Sunday when I went to church and saw the way a lot of people were left with virtually nothing because the floods took everything (clothing, household items etc) away, leaving them with nothing.
A story that an old friend of mine in whose compound I used to park my car told me got me crying right in front of him. He said he was fast asleep when all of a sudden, he realized that his bed was turning around. Feeling dizzy, he got up to check what the problem was only to know his room was full of water all the way up to his shoulder level. Poor old man... He was shivering while he was telling me all these, and I couldn't help but shed a tear for him. I am glad he is alive at least because even though a lot of people lost their lives, he is okay.
In other matters, I am pleased to announce to blogville that I have been able to unravel the anonymous blogger HoneyDame and have come to understand why she was able to break her room mates bed after all with her bakassi!!!lol. For those of you who are finding it difficult to figure out what this is all about, see the story, BOTTOM POWER and everything will become clearer...lol
Mehn.... The babe get enough behind o!!! She is one absolutely amazing African beauty! Even though she warned me that she was going to send me to Afghanistan on exile if I dare disclose her identity, I just can't help but still bring it here for you all to see. watch the picture after the break.

After All Is Said And Done...
Hello everyone,
I had a good weekend and I suppose you all had one too. Anyway, I want to share a little "something" with you today. Please read and answer as many of the questions as you can.
A wise man once said, "when a baby is born, everyone around is happy but the baby cries".
So, I am thinking it should be the other way round whereby when we die, everyone around cries but we will be smiling and happy being in the bosom of Jehovah.
I am inspired to write this post based on my bible study this morning.
After all has been said and done, how are we going to be remembered here on earth? How will our work on earth be measured? Are we going to be remembered with a good or a bad tag?
Life here on earth is a short one and should be lived in such a way that when we are gone, our legacies and foot prints can be followed. I beseech everyone to be conscious about the things we say and do on earth because whether good or bad, God will bring all to judgement.
To live a just and principled life is not easy, but by grace of God, plus our prayers and supplications to Him, we will get through the challenges of the life somehow.
Finally, let us remember that this world is not our home. We have a permanent home which has been prepared for us by our Lord Jesus Christ. So, let us always live our lives in preparation for our biggest day with our God, among the angels and the 24 elders.
What a great feast that will be! Love you all.

These Floods Again?!!!
Hello everyone...
Today, I write with a heavy heart. Almost the whole of Accra (the capital of Ghana) is flooded and it is terribly sad.
A lot of people have been rendered homeless, parents are screaming and searching for their lost kids. Read a friends update on FB today and he said the president should call for a state of emergency. Do you agree? Even if he does, will (calling a state of emergency) solve the problem knowing the rains will not stop falling? I think we need a very pro-active government structure all over Africa. A structure that does not have to wait for people to die before decisive actions are taken to deal the menace of floods in our cities. We have ministries and government organisations which are supposed to take care of issues like this. Can we not plan ahead of the next rainy season in order to make sure that the events of this year do not re-occur?
A number of people have been reported dead including this sweet friend of mine on FB...
These are a few pictures I got. Please see and estimate for yourself the amount of damage and loss this flood left behind. Thank you for reading.
NB:- I should have done this post yesterday but my internet was messing up. Thanks to HoneyDame who dropped a mail to check up on me. I'm soo grateful girl... God bless you!
Peace... I'm out.
