Men are Honest?!!

Hello everyone,
I got another story today. I hope it is able to tell you "something" after reading it. I hope even more that this story will stir up a debate which at the end will help us all live better lives and lifestyles. Enjoy!!
One day, a wood cutter was cutting a branch of a tree towering over a river when his axe-head fell into the river. He cried out and the Lord appeared and asked, "Why are you crying?!" The woodcutter replied that his axe-head had fallen into the water, and he needed his axe to make a living. The Lord went down into the water and re-appeared with a golden axe-head. "Is this your axe-head?", the Lord asked.
The woodcutter replied, "No." The Lord again went down and came up with a silver axe-head. "Is this your axe?", the Lord asked. Again, the woodcutter replied, "No." The Lord went down again and came up with an iron axe-head. "Is this your axe-head?", the Lord asked. The woodcutter replied, "Yes." The Lord was pleased with the man's honesty and gave him all three axes to keep, and the woodcutter went home happy.

Some time later the woodcutter was walking with his wife along the riverbank, and his wife fell into the river (how that happened! na inside story)lol... When he cried out, the Lord again appeared and asked him, "Why are you crying? "Oh Lord, please help!! My wife has fallen into the river and I don't not know how to swim"
The Lord went down into the river and came up with ANGELINA JOLIE "Is this your wife?" the Lord asked.. "Yes," cried the woodcutter, the Lord was furious. "You lied! That is not true and you know it!!" The woodcutter replied, "Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It is a misunderstanding, you see, if I had said 'no' to ANGELINA JOLIE, You would have come up with MEGAN FOX. Then if I said 'no' to her, you would have come up with my wife .
Had I then said 'yes,' you would have given me all three. Lord, I am a poor man, and am not able to take care of all three wives. So that is my reason for saying yes to ANGELINA JOLIE ." Lol.
MORAL OF THE STORY (and I can't believe I am deducing this conclusion by myself)lol: Whenever a man lies, it is for a good and honorable reason, and for the benefit of others. Do you agree? Why? And if you do not agree, why not? I wish I could answer, but I'm going to keep me and my big mouth out of it for now... I will save my comment for last. Let the Debate b-e-g-i-n...

Peace... I'm out

  1. Looolll. Your post is just a joke and has enough humour in it.
However, in reality, lies can never be justified. I don't believe anyone has to lie, no matter how bitter the truth is.

  3. LOL, i could actually debate this one on both sides of the argument (depending upon the nature of the lie). But im just gonna say no, men don't ALWAYS lie for good or admirable reasons.

  7. Hilarity for days! A lie is a lie mehn, white lies and all but in relationships sincerity is key and if you know the person you're with can't handle the stuff you do then why do them or why even stay with the person in the first place?
