Woman to Woman

Someone shared this piece with me and after reading it, I just thought to myself..."why not share this on your blog for your readers to also enjoy? This could lift someone's spirit up, could put a smile on someone's face, and could restore the confidence level back in someone's life, especially in this season when there are a lot of whys and what ifs... The writer is anonymous, and I have also added a few words for greater blessings (winks). In life, "Someone will always be prettier. Someone will always be smarter. Someone's house will be bigger. Someone will drive a better car. Someone will earn more. Someone will travel more. It doesn't mean they are better, they are just living there lives while you are busy trampling on what you are good, pretty, smarter and bigger in, wishing you had someone else's life.

Just let it go. Take care of yourself. Love yourself and be courageous in your circumstances, understanding that God always has His reasons, which will always be clear to us in the sweet by and by. The prettiest, slimmest woman in the world may have sadness in her heart. The most highly favored woman in your office may not be able to have children. So why do you think that being like them is the answer you need?
 

That married friend of yours might not be happy in her marriage. The richest woman you know may have the car, the house, and the clothes - but might be very lonely. So, love yourself. Love who you are right now! In this life, there  are no perfect situations, but we always trust God to help us thrive through the imperfections around us.

Tell yourself "I am too blessed to be stressed." Be well. Be happy. Be blessed. Pass this on to encourage another woman because, "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world". 

By the way, thanks for all the wonderful comments, prayers and wishes to to my sunshine.  He really had fun and won't forget the celebrations in a hurry. Toin and Honeydame, make una no fight o! Make una just hurry up bring my DIL fast-fast. Time no dey o! The guy is in HOOOOOOT demand keke. Na first come first serve o! lol

Happy Birthday My Sunshine!!!

Yes I call you my sunshine cos'  you brought lots of shine into my life. Today, you are 5years! 5 solid years!!! what can I render in thanksgiving unto my Maker? You have been of so much blessing to me, yes you have.

Nine months after you were born, I got the job I'm doing now... A very good one at that and my life has never been the same. Through you, I discovered the joys of motherhood; Through you, I discovered what it meant to be there for a child; Through you, I discovered the challenges my mother must have gone through; Through you... All through you. 

There were days things were tough for us. There were days I thought I was going to loose you but God has been very faithful... Very very faithful and I am more than grateful.

Today, I celebrate your day with you... You have grown to be a fine young man who I love and am so proud of. Yes, you can be very troublesome which is typical of every child your age, but listen...I would rather have you in my life with all your troubles and even more than not have you in my life at all. 

I, we, all of us love you so much! Also, if I had the chance to live all over again, I would still love to be your mummy cos' you decorate my life with so much joy! I love you Gabby (short for Gabriel) I love you... have a big fat happy birthday and many more enjoyable years ahead. I love you, always have, I always will and I don't think I will ever stop.

Awwwww... This is my very first embrace with you in 2013! Na me dis?! Chei!! Na U be dat?!!! I de happy for me and u like say tomorrow no dey o! No be God?! All de bad tins wey bad people plan for me and u, God show dem say E pass dem power. Na we de inside 2013 so!

Happy new year to y'all!!! I pray this year brings us nothing but the very best in everything we do, in everything we hope for and in everything we dream about. I also pray God will meet us at the point of our needs and grant us peace on every angle of life.

So you all have read about how awesome I am on 9jagreat's blog lately, haven't you? Well the reason is this... His elder sister and kids came over for the holidays and oh boy, did we have fun? Interestingly everything played out so well, that one will probably think we have known each other for years... And some said women cannot connect easily... *mtcheew*.
